This review is incomplete also demands addition!
So far you watch the full review the Review of the lens Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L USM
Strengths: Under certain conditions will give amazing pictures, illumination 1.2, rather sharp on an open hole, very high-quality assembly, any bokeh, very sound construct.
Heavy, very slow focus, dust. On an open hole strong chromatic aberrations (photo), not universality.
Comment: Think before purchase, whether such glass is necessary for you. You won’t be able to shoot the reporting because of slow focus, it is heavy. But in studio having spent certain time, in competent hands this glass can give the magnificent picture. I specially uploaded specific pictures to show minuses of this glass, after all people have to understand the spending such huge money and for what they will receive for this money.
Comments about photographic
1. CANON EF 85 f/1.2 L USM II is sharper in the center of a shot, than Carl Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 ZE Planar T*. In the center of a shot some CA (chromatic aberrations) have both. In the middle of a shot from edges of CANON EF 85 f/1.2 L USM II less sharp, than Carl Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 ZE Planar T *, and has rather strong HA. I would tell that to the middle of a shot from edges and shot corners at CANON EF 85 f/1.2 L USM II in general disgusting if to compare to Tseys at which isn’t present almost HA at edges on a diaphragm 1.4. I see option of CANON EF 85 f/1.2 L USM II use in comparison with Tseys only in photographing on actions where the auto focus is important and quality or use isn’t important on spraying. At least 1.3kh (1D of mark III, 1D mark IV etc.) and it is better on spray 1.6kh. Then corners will be cut off and quality visually will be good if it is important to think about sharpness of a lens. CANON EF 85 f/1.2 L USM II has a strong distortion in comparison with Carl Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 ZE Planar T * and in spite of the fact that now the distortion of lenses in most cases can be corrected in Adobe Photoshop, I would prefer not to have it in pictures from a lens for this money at all. For comparison of Carl Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 ZE Planar T * , now it costs approx. 1000 USD. But it has no auto focus — this information is for those who doesn’t consider lenses without auto focus.

2. Sigma 85mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM is sharper in the center of a shot, than in CANON EF 85 f/1.2 L USM II, it is much sharper at the edges and it has much less CA (chromatic aberrations). Also the things are much better with a distortion. Also it has a good price. The choice is obvious.

3. And here even Samyang 85mm f/1.4 wins against Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM on HA and on a distortion (but not on sharpness). Samyang 85mm f/1.4 loses Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM on sharpness. However, Samyang 85mm f/1.4 too, as well as at Carl Zeiss 85mm f/1.4 ZE Planar T * have no auto focus. And bokeh is not so joyful (good), as at Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM. But it also costs a lot! Whether such motor at Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM is expensive, whether… “on it the thought comes to an end…” ©

And for those who chooses between Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM and Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM too partly were defined for what they pay, our following fragment.
4.The test for F1.8 is the best on what Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM is capable. Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM is much sharper in the center of a shot and also is sharper at the edges. In general it would be strange if Canon made the competitor to the lens of class Hi-end. HA in places, on edge of a shot, is better at Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM. But I can not tell anything good about it. It from other category and about it it is possible to read about it in the article Test of Lenses 85mm.
